Peace Building and Governance Coordinator
SEDO recognizes the critical importance of fostering peaceful coexistence and resolving conflicts rooted in resource-sharing disputes, such as access to land and water sources, particularly in urban and semi-urban areas.
To address these challenges, SEDO deploys a team of experienced peacebuilders who engage with communities to promote dialogue, mediation, and conflict resolution. Through resource mobilization trainings, SEDO empowers pastoral and agro-pastoral communities to mitigate conflicts and strengthen social cohesion.
Continuous needs assessments and community engagement efforts provide invaluable insights into community needs, informing SEDO’s advocacy efforts and enhancing resource allocation to address local priorities.
