SEDO, through their designated nutrition focal point, carried out a three-day intensive training of trainers for nutrition champions from each village on agri-nutrition and food safety. This training included both theoretical lessons and demonstrations to enhance retention of skills, knowledge, and behavior regarding food handling and nutrition choices. The focal points were responsible for selecting nutrition champions using a pre-set criterion provided by FAO.
Nutrition champions in each village, consisting of four males and four females, were selected during the selection of beneficiaries by SEDO’s nutrition focal point.
