Social Protection and Inclusion
Strengthening Social Safety Nets
SEDO believes that every person deserves dignity, equality, and the opportunity to thrive. Yet, vulnerable groups—including women, children, persons with disabilities, the elderly, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and marginalized communities—often face systemic barriers to accessing basic services, participating in decision-making, and enjoying equal rights.
Poverty, conflict, displacement, and discrimination further isolate these groups, leaving them at higher risk of neglect, abuse, and exploitation. Without targeted interventions, cycles of exclusion deepen, hindering both individual wellbeing and community development.
SEDO’s Social Protection and Inclusion programs are designed to reduce vulnerability, break barriers, and build inclusive systems that safeguard the rights and dignity of all people.
Our Approach
SEDO ensures that development efforts are equitable, rights-based, and inclusive, empowering vulnerable populations to overcome barriers and contribute to resilient, thriving communities.
