🎓 Empowering Communities Through l Training and development
At SEDO, we believe that sustainable development begins with opportunity. Our vocational training programs are designed to equip youth, women, and vulnerable groups with the practical skills they need to secure livelihoods, achieve self-reliance, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. From tailoring, carpentry, and mechanics to ICT, entrepreneurship, and modern agribusiness, our training courses are tailored to meet market demands while fostering innovation and creativity.
Beyond technical skills, we also focus on building confidence, leadership, and financial literacy among trainees. By connecting participants with job placement opportunities, internships, and small business support, we help them transition from training to income generation. Through vocational training, SEDO is not only reducing unemployment but also breaking cycles of poverty and empowering individuals to create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
Our PSEA framework ensures that staff, volunteers, and partners are fully trained and committed to maintaining safe, respectful, and ethical practices. We put strong mechanisms in place for reporting, responding, and preventing misconduct, ensuring that survivors are protected and supported with dignity and confidentiality.
