Livelihoods and Economic
Empowerment
🕊️ Sustainable Livelihood and economic empowerment are the cornerstones of resilient societies
SEDO believes that sustainable livelihoods are the cornerstone of resilience and self-reliance. Many of the communities we serve face chronic poverty, limited income opportunities, and restricted access to markets. By promoting inclusive economic growth, we help families achieve stability and dignity.
SEDO recognizes that poverty and unemployment are among the biggest barriers to community resilience and development. Many vulnerable families lack sustainable income sources, access to markets, and the skills needed to participate in the modern economy. Women and youth, in particular, face limited opportunities, which perpetuates cycles of dependency and poverty.
To address this, SEDO promotes inclusive, sustainable, and innovative livelihood strategies that enable households to generate income, build resilience, and achieve long-term economic independence.
